Frequently asked

Questions before you come in

The things we get asked most on the phone. For anything specific to your gear, give us a call.

Do I need an appointment?

Yes. All services and repairs, including small fixes, require an appointment. Call or use the contact form to arrange a time before bringing your gear in.

How will I know my gear is ready?

We will let you know when your gear is ready to collect. At handover, we explain what was done and what to keep an eye on.

Can the price change during the service?

The price we give you after the inspection is the price you pay. If we find something extra once it is stripped down, we stop and call — we never do or charge for work that was not agreed.

Can I bring my own parts?

Yes, and we fit them with no surcharge on the labour. If you would rather we ordered them, you get the price before you confirm.

How can I pay?

For now, payment is cash only at the workshop.

Is there a warranty on the work?

Yes, on the labour. If something is not right after a service, bring it back and we will put it right at no charge. Parts carry the manufacturer’s own warranty.

Can I wait at the workshop?

For quick jobs like a puncture or a derailleur adjustment, yes. For anything else it is better to leave the gear, since we run several jobs in parallel.

Do you collect gear?

Not at the moment. Gear is dropped off and collected at the workshop.
